Privacy and cookies
This is a working outline, not a finished policy
It describes accurately what the rebuilt site does, but it needs completing with the site owner's real identity and contact details, and a consent platform must be in place before advertising runs to UK or EEA visitors. Do not treat this page as legal advice.
What this site collects directly
Nothing. There is no contact form, no account, no newsletter sign-up and no analytics script in this build. The pages are static and set no cookies of their own.
Advertising
The old site ran Google AdSense. If advertising is switched back on, Google and its partners may set cookies and process data to select and measure ads, and UK and EEA visitors must be asked for consent through a certified consent management platform before that happens. That platform is not part of this build and has to be added.
YouTube videos
Review pages carry videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play — the thumbnail comes from YouTube's image server and the player itself is only inserted when you ask for it, using the youtube-nocookie domain. Once you press play, YouTube receives your request and its own terms and cookies apply.
Server logs
The web host records standard access logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser — for security and troubleshooting. Retention is set by the host.
Links out
Review pages link to the sources they summarise. Those sites have their own policies and we have no control over them.
Your rights and contact
UK GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and objection over personal data held about you. To exercise them, or to ask anything about this page, use the contact page — which needs a real monitored address before launch.
