Built-in PEN protection, three solar modes and links to Intelligent Octopus Go and OVO Charge Anytime, from a company rated 4.8/5 by 2,905 Trustpilot reviewers. The catch is the price, and how quickly a fitted quote grows.
Trusted Reviews, a BuildHub thread and 6,460 Trustpilot reviews on the 7kW myenergi zappi 2.1: from £779 (about £1,100 fitted), 6.5m tether, no earth rod, Eco and Eco+ solar modes, and a relay fault just past warranty.
The Ohme Home Pro is from £999 fitted (about £532 unit-only). TechRadar, installer Smart Home Charge and 18,639 Trustpilot reviews (4.5/5) like the app, screen and no earth rod, but it needs 4G and a supported tariff.
